Why HMD 2-in-1?
Accumulating high levels of heavy metals can be toxic and affect the body’s functions.
Heavy metals in polluted air, contaminated food, water, cosmetics, medications, dental filling, utensils, industrial exposure, and more continue to expose us to health risks daily. With this, the brain, kidney, liver, gastrointestinal, reproductive and nervous systems are particularly susceptible to their ill effects.
Common toxic heavy metals, such as lead, cadmium, inorganic arsenic and mercury, exhibit no essential biochemical roles. However, they have been found to bind in cells and tissues, creating oxidative stress, affecting endocrine function, and interfering with the organ systems.
Exposure to chronic heavy metals may cause one to experience alarming symptoms such as fatigue, headache, vomiting, nausea, joint and muscle pain, and constipation.
While the human body needs a small number of heavy metals such as zinc, iron and magnesium to support normal cellular functions, we can do without some heavy metals harming our system.
HMD 2-in-1 as Heavy Metal Detoxifier
HMD 2-in-1 is made of a metal toxin binding agent and mobilizer. It carries a natural negative (-) charge that can attract and trap positively charged (+) heavy metals and toxins in a chelation process. The heavy metals and toxins are then flushed out through excretory channels.
HMD 2-in-1 as Antioxidants
HMD 2-in-1 contains both natural mineral and plant-based antioxidants. Its principal mineral compound is a grid-like structure that traps heavy metals, toxins and free radicals in the body.
Free radicals are highly reactive molecules responsible for the oxidation of normal cells leading to damaged cells, tissues and their normal functions and contributing to illnesses and premature aging. HMD 2-in-1 scavenges free radicals to eliminate their impact on the body.
The combination of nanomized mineral silicate and highly antioxidative plant-based ingredients works in the gastrointestinal tract by trapping dangerous substances without burdening the metabolic processes before excreting from the body.
Ingredients
Nanomized Natural Organic Food Grade Mineral Silicate
- Hydrating natural mineral containing aluminium, silica and oxygen
- A valuable mineral for a range of detoxification therapies
- Heavy metal, toxin and free radical sorbents
- Non-toxic – no cell membrane permeation and remains inert
- Has positive effects as an antioxidant
- Possesses two types of cages known as α-cage and β-cage
Coriandrum sativum
- Chemical compounds in cilantro, also commonly known as Chinese parsley, have the ability to mobilize toxic metals out from tissues
- Effective in removing inorganic and methylmercury
- Leads to marked decline in oxidative stress caused by lead nitrate
Chlorella Vulgaris
- Rich in chlorophyll which has a similar function to haemoglobin
- Effective in detoxifying heavy metal, harmful substances and dioxin
- Chlorophyll inhibits dioxin absorption and accelerate its excretion
- Rich in antioxidants, alginic acid and fibre that support detoxification
Nigella sativa
- Black cumin contains thymol and thymoquinone which can neutralise heavy metals and have antioxidant properties
Common Dangerous Heavy Metals
Inorganic Arsenic
Inorganic arsenic compounds can be present in soils, sediment, water, and some food like rice. Constant consumption of inorganic arsenic may cause neurologic, cardiovascular, dermatologic and carcinogenic effects. These include peripheral neuropathy, diabetes, ischemic heart disease, melanosis, keratosis and liver impairment.
Mercury
Mercury is readily absorbed via the respiratory tract and can cause inflammation of the mouth and gums, swelling of salivary glands, excessive flow of saliva, and loosening of teeth. It can also cause kidney damage, muscle tremors, loss of motor coordination, personality changes, depression, irritability and dementia.
Lead
Another common heavy metal we encounter is lead. Lead can accumulate in the blood and internal organs such as the brain, bones, kidneys and thyroid gland. It accounts for most cases of heavy metal poisoning in children.
Health risks associated with heavy metal toxicity
- Hormonal imbalance
- Inflammation and joint pain
- Increased risk of cancer
- Central nervous system disfunction
- Gastrointestinal and kidney disfunction
- Blurred vision
- Memory loss
- Joint inflammation
